WIP Rec

  • Partially Kissed Hero by Perfect Lionheart.
    Pairing: Harry/Luna/Hermione
Summary: Summer before third year Harry has a life changing experience, and a close encounter with a dementor ends with him absorbing the horcrux within him. Features Harry with a backbone.
    Fiction Rated: T - English - Adventure/Humor - Chapters: 29 - Words: 134,258 - Reviews: 2453 - Updated: 9-18-08 - Published: 5-6-08

Rec: This is... strange. The humor in this isn't laugh out loud style, but rather quirky in nature. Harry has more than a backbone, actually, and peculiar circumstances land him with two fiancées (one for love, one due to family alliances and political maneuvering). This has a Dumbles, incorporates the Deathly Hallows (and Horcruxes, obviously), plus a ton of other stuff (which includes some interesting crossover-type things). It's another one of those stories with ideas I wish I'd been the one to present first, you know? Definitely enjoyable for me to read, and I've already left one review based merely on a starting author's note.

ETA: I should add that some of the oration is windy and quite verbose, to the point where I have to pay close attention to keep my mind from wandering. Usually, I think, when Harry is trying to convince Hermione of something.
