AAR
Visited Mr Dentist for two root canals. The idea doesn't bother me at all, really, despite what people say about it being such a horrifying experience. I learned differently due to the original one.

The first tooth was dealt with easily enough. Ironically, this was the tooth which started me on my dental adventures last year. I was concerned because the filling was shifting. I had actually stopped flossing between that tooth and the next because I was scared I would rip the filling out. (Even more amusing is that later that day of the first root canal--on the other side of my face, mind you--the filling fell out anyway.) However, when we moved on to the other tooth, the one that was causing me a great deal of pain, the nerve was so riled up we had to pause briefly for two additional shots of Novocaine. But whatever, it's done.

Of course, root canals means antibiotics, which is never fun, so the next ten days or so are sure to be a fun-filled experience.

Even more fun is how I managed to get home yesterday and almost immediately crash due to lack of sleep and the sedatives used to keep me from turning into a hysterical mess in Mr Chair. I woke up, stayed awake for only a couple of hours, then went back to bed when I realized I was half asleep at my computer.

And then, depression set in in the form of Mr Migraine. Sweet Jesus. It's been a while since I've had one, and I must have gained tolerance to head"ache" pain because I could still function, though not well. Sadly, despite all efforts to the contrary, there came a moment (even after pleading with the Powers That Be for relief and whatnot) where Worshiping the Porcelain Throne evented. *sigh*

At least it had been several hours since I'd taken the last antibiotic.

Thankfully it did not make Mr Migraine worse, which it can do if one is extremely unlucky. Three Excedrin Migraine were then consumed (I am currently out of Imitrex) and it was back to bed again.

I feel sort of human at the moment, which might explain the ability to type, though Mr Stomach is feeling rather iffy. I continue to pray. Even so, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if I'm back in bed again within a few hours.
