I've spent all day at the Lileks site and stumbled over this particular ad from a men's magazine. I nearly died laughing, especially reading: "I'm just wondering what this was doing in a men's magazine."

This gem contains four links to food humor. Or, in the words of the blogger: "On my other blog, The Thrift Shop Romantic, I occasionally do humor posts featuring some of the terrifying, comical, and virtually inedible recipes found in vintage cookbooks."

And now, of course, I'll simply have to read more of the posts at The Thrift Shop Romantic, because some of them look just as amusing.
